Industrial vacuum
Indlovu Industrial Vacuum Unit
The Indlovu is a high-capacity liquid-ring vacuum unit created for sludge, slurry, wastewater and demanding industrial recovery. A 12,500 L stainless-steel tank, dual-cyclone separation and a protected 3,100 m³/h vacuum system give operators the capacity to move difficult material with control. Engineered and manufactured in South Africa to endure severe African duty, its robust, serviceable design is ready to perform anywhere.

Product overview
Built to endure. Engineered to perform.
The Indlovu is designed around dependable material recovery: create strong, continuous suction, protect the vacuum pump from carry-over and make the tank straightforward to empty and clean. It is suited to municipal, environmental and industrial work where high volumes, dirty liquids and stubborn waste demand more than a general-purpose vacuum truck.
Protected suction performance
A Werner liquid-ring pump delivers 3,100 m³/h with vacuum down to -0.85 bar gauge. The screened scrubber box, dual 304 stainless-steel cyclones and removable filtration components separate debris before it reaches the pump, supporting consistent performance and practical maintenance.
A tank made for demanding material
The 12,500 L vacuum tank uses 6 mm 316 stainless steel, a heavy-duty EPDM rear-door seal and hydraulic tipping to 50°. A vibrator, knock-out boxes, full-opening rear door and flared discharge chutes help the crew move and discharge difficult loads with less manual intervention.
Safety and service are part of the build
PTO and gearbox lockouts, fast-reacting emergency stops, hydraulic and mechanical door locks and a transit isolation valve are integrated into the operating system. Lockable controls, accessible guards and inspection points help make routine checks and field servicing more direct.
Werner liquid-ring vacuum pump delivers 3,100 m³/h with vacuum down to -0.85 bar gauge.
12,500 L vacuum tank is fabricated from 6 mm 316 stainless steel.
Separate 2,500 L service-liquid tank supports liquid-ring pump operation.
Dual 304 stainless-steel cyclones, scrubber box and knock-out chambers protect the vacuum system from carry-over.
Hydraulic tank tipping reaches up to 50° and includes burst-valve protection.
Full-opening hydraulic rear door uses a heavy-duty EPDM seal and safety-locking systems.
Optional 360° telescopic suction boom provides 3.4-4.6 m reach and a 6-inch intake.
Optional 13 L/min at 120 bar cleaning system supports wash-down and internal cleaning.
How the system is defined
Performance starts with the duty.
Werner technical sales matches the complete unit to the material, environment, mounting and working cycle. Final specifications remain subject to engineering confirmation.
- High-volume wet and dry industrial recovery
- Stainless-steel tanks and cyclone protection for difficult material
