Werner South Africa Pumps & Equipment (Pty) Ltd was founded on 1 May 1988 and has grown to become one of South Africa’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of specialist high-pressure jetting, vacuum and water recycling equipment.
The company was founded by Norbert Werner, a qualified mechanical engineer who was born in Germany in 1945. Drawing on extensive international and local experience, Norbert led a highly skilled team of specialists and helped establish Werner Pumps’ reputation for engineering excellence, innovation and quality.
In 2009, Norbert transitioned into an advisory role, entrusting the day-to-day leadership of the family-owned company to his son, Sebastian Werner. This marked the beginning of the second generation of Werner family leadership.
Under the leadership of Sebastian Werner, Werner Pumps continues to build on his father’s legacy while looking firmly to the future. Together with an experienced in-house team of designers, engineers and technical specialists, Sebastian continues to push the boundaries of what is achievable and drive the development of innovative solutions for the industries Werner Pumps serves.

At Werner Pumps, we design and manufacture high-pressure jetting, vacuum and combination units for demanding applications.
From compact 2.2 kW electric skid units to powerful 12-cylinder diesel-driven systems, Werner equipment is available in skid, trailer and truck-mounted configurations—with every unit customisable to suit the application.
We combine selected German and Swiss components and technology with South African engineering and manufacturing expertise to create robust systems for long-term performance.
