Scorpion turns a high-capacity sewage pump into a mobile response asset. Tow it to the site, position the trailer and put its 6-inch flow path to work on stormwater, common sewage, wastewater, effluent and other seriously polluted liquids that are not strongly corrosive. It suits planned transfer duties as readily as urgent dewatering and bypass work.
Fast priming, free-flowing passage
The SP6 pump combines self-priming operation with a semi-open impeller and non-clogging flow path. A maximum solids passage of 76 mm and suction head up to 7.6 m, dependent on operating speed and duty point, give the trailer useful capability when the liquid is far from clean.
Independent power on a towable chassis
A four-cylinder Kirloskar air-cooled diesel engine drives the pump across a 750-1,450 rpm operating range stated for the trailer. The heavy-duty steel frame, adjustable jockey wheel, multi-hole drawbar, lighting and reflectors make the unit straightforward to position and move between sites.
Simple to run. Practical to maintain.
The side-mounted control panel groups start, stop, system indication, regulator control and low-water cut-off functions. Back-pull-out pump construction and accessible components simplify maintenance so the trailer can return to service without unnecessary strip-down.
